Thanks for taking an interest in volunteering at Big Sisters. In order to become a Big Sister the commitment is 3-4 hours per week for a minimum of a year.

If you are interested in volunteering the first step is to come to an information session which are held twice a month at 6:00 pm at the Big Sisters house. Please call (519) 438-7065.

You will need to bring with you:

1) The names and phone numbers of 3 references that you have known for longer
than 2 years.
a) The first reference that we require is a character (friend)
b) The second reference is a family reference
c) The third reference is a professional (colleague, supervisor, co-worker).

2) You will also be required to bring with you $10 cash for the Police Clearance check. 

3) Also, please bring a proof of ID and address for the police check as well.
